                                            “THE WONDER OF YOU”

Palais 12 – Brussels – 19 May 2017

Last year, in celebration of what would have been Elvis's eightieth birthday, RCA released the CD 'If I Can Dream'. This highly successful release combines recordings from the Elvis archives mixed with new arrangements recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. The second album is being released on 21 October, titled “The Wonder of You – Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra”.

On May 19, 2017 you can experience a live performance of the unique collaboration between the most recognizable voice of all time and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. The show will bring you the King of Rock & Roll's greatest hits (both up-tempo rockers and heart breaking ballads, from 'Burning Love' to 'If I Can Dream'). And there will be a very special guest in Hall 12, Priscilla Presley who finds it an honour to present this prestigious collaboration.

The "Wonder of You' is a show that will create a perfect illusion. Use of the latest technologies allows Elvis to sing on a transparent screen with a philharmonic orchestra playing behind him. The audience will have the privilege of seeing a full Elvis concert just as he would play it today – if he were still alive.

The voice and the presence of Elvis on screen are so powerful, the interaction with the musicians seamless and the public response so sincere, that after a few songs one forgets that the singer is not physically present. All the details - from the direction, decor, lighting, sound, and the overall production - work to convince you of the contrary.

Here are some interesting facts about Elvis Presley:

  • Elvis never played in Europe
  • Elvis sold more than 1 billion records, nobody has ever compared to him
  • Elvis recorded more than 600 numbers during his career
  • Elvis was nominated 14 times for a Grammy Award, he won three, and also received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Elvis played in 31 films en musicals
  • Elvis and Priscilla met in 1959 in Germany, where he served with the US Army
  • Elvis sold out a run of 636 in Las Vegas

Ticket sales for this show start on Friday 16 September at 10:00. Order yours quickly, because you will never get this close to Elvis again.
